Wheel of Fortune

Symbolism: The Wheel of Fortune is a common symbol of good luck and success. Both the angels and the sphinx indicate that the source of good fortune is unknowable and hidden from us. The alchemy symbols reflect the 4 elements, as do the 4 animals in the corners (cherub for water, bull for earth, lion for fire, and eagle for air).

Overall Meaning: Just like the name says, this is a card of luck, fortune and success. Things are going to go your way in the near future. Like the Lovers card, the heavenly symbolism makes it clear that luck is beyond your control and comes from 'above'. Good luck can be unexpected, unpredictable and unexplainable.
