Symbolism: I think this is pretty self-explanatory. Powerful energy, yet under control.

Overall Meaning: Like the Chariot, the Strength card is about harnessing energy. Raw power or strength will overwhelm the situation without a calming influence. Don't let your passions take over because it will cloud your judgment and can lead to impulsive decisions. Of course, controlled strength is not the same as weakness. You still need to stand up and be firm.
