Citrus Sorbet

Add a bright taste of the sun to your Sabbat dinner. This is a quick and easy sorbet made with orange and pineapple.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 1 (20-oz) can of crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbs lemon juice
  • 2 tsp grated orange zest

Preparation:
Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan, and heat until sugar is dissolved. In a blender, puree pineapple (with juice) until smooth. Mix all ingredients together in a freezer-friendly bowl. Freeze until starting to stiffen, but not frozen solid.

Take out of the freezer, and beat again with a mixer until smooth. Freeze again until firm (around 2 hours).
