Corn Bread

Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup corn meal
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup shortening
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 425F. Sift the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together. Stir in cornmeal. Add eggs, milk and shortening. Use a mixer to beat until smooth. Pour into a 9x9x2 greased pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
