A handy little spell book that covers a wide range of different topics, situations and desires. There is a bit of everything in here, and something for everyone.

The spells were a great mix of stuff, not only different topics but also different types of spells too. Some with candles, some with charm bags, and some with anointing oils. I thought it was a handy all-purpose book of spells, overall.

Most of the spells were relatively simple, with 4 or 5 steps to them. Ideal for the busy witch. There are some though that will need more time and effort to put together.

There were a few spells for things that probably shouldn't be left up to magickal means, like dealing with a stalker or turning a breach baby. Yes, magick is powerful but you should be realistic when it comes to such serious matters.

I found the book to have a very strong Santerian tone, which was a little unexpected. Ingredients such as Van Van oil, Florida water and floor washes are usually found in Santerian or Vodou spells rather than the Wiccan ones we are used to. As a result, some items may not be right at hand for your average witch. But in itself, that doesn't detract from the quality of the spells. You just might have to go shopping.

The first chapter an introduction to doing magick, and after that it's just spells. Her tone is casual and there is a sprinkling of humour along with the spells. It's a fun book, and one that I suspect I'll refer back to a few more times yet.
